This is such an amazing game! I've been playing for hours since I was introduced to it and can't wait for the early access to drop on Steam. The card building aspect is well thought out with lots of different cards that should inspire different game plays with different strategies. I hope there might be some sort of custom function that I could adjust how fast the waves were because I would like to test out situations with the many combinations of cards. Overall one of the most interesting takes on a deck-building game that has managed to captivate me and makes me want more. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to the full game one day knowing that it will be great!

Got to the last wave but only just 1 times ... there still need a balance to be made here and there.... the enemy is just too powerful... that just the normal one .... ones the plague event hit up .... normal enemy become hell .... so hard to beat... should need an pdate that can upgrade our existing wall .... rather than need to expand.... because every soilder left and right need to be balance with their power and defends ... if one broke out trying to get the left to go right or vice versa is really hard if you dont get that rally ....
I think that it should also be that a wall shouldn't be a checkpoint/stand for the soilder to move left & right .... the last wave when i want to defend the left side.... but the last left wall broke .... my right army should be able to defend it but since there no wall ... they cant move to the left to defend it and make me lose just like that ....
I wish there have like a map on top ... so that we can easily click left and right on the map to go to that other side of each wall ... for an easier defend strategy when using our skill

This was great! I got really drawn into this as I love RTS and Card games, it reminded me of Kingdom. There were many more cards than I expected and a lot of them felt pretty good (Still didn't stop me from dying to weasels!) Great job on the game!/edit

I really enjoyed the game!
Quite challenging, but fun nonetheless.
The one thing I found a bit annoying, was that once the inner walls were destroyed, it was basically game over as you couldn't place any cards to defend yourself. Other than that, looking forward to what the game has in store for the future!

When enemy broke to the inner wall, I thought it was pointless to stop it. Even if you defend it, you'll soon be stronger and more enemies.
But I am aware that many users want to do something more in the situation, and I am planning to add something to relieve that desire!

I played the game a bit further after recording and got to the final wave (I believe) and the game is lots of fun!
But it is indeed difficult once the inner wall is broken, especially the last wave, as the enemy is so strong and fast.
I'm looking forward to more though, good luck with the game!
If I have waves coming on both the left and the right side of the city how do I manage my army? I mean can I split it somehow or is it just all left/all right? Or do I need to put cards both on the left and on the right side evenly so when this happens it's ok?
- please let me change the space bar function. In many games it's a pause button and I keep on discard my hand by mistake ;D
You have to deploy a left/right military unit to prevent such a situation. Or you can put a military unit on one side and defend the other with a building or a skill card that damages the enemy.
I'm planning to add a custom key setting later. You'll be able to enjoy the game in a comfortable way.
Cool idea and quite the challenge with the later enemies. Can't wait for the release. :)

One exploit that I would like to point out, if you build two upgraded altars you can use them to completely stop the waves, and then you can have all the time you want, assuming that you constantly make sacrifices, Aztec style.
It's a way of playing games, but it seems to be too efficient. The balance of the altar will be adjusted.

I love the game! Just one exploit I would like to point out, if you are using the military leader and you use rally in combination with his active ability, you can get absurdly powerful units, I had units in the 90s on health and 30s on damage by the time the wave 15 demo end killed me.

An excellent, gripping game that glued me to the chair for several hours. The graphics are enjoyable, the special effects are great, the random events add to the replayability value, and the game requires serious tactical thinking - managing your resources in a balanced way is the key to success, as is playing your cards in the correct order and using combos.
Anyways, I managed to survive until wave 15 and got close to restoring the city of Ratropolis to its former glory, before succumbing to the inevitable doom.
Super cool concept! Really enjoyed it! Kinda got annihilated once the weasles attacked. Not really too sure how I could have turned that around aside from more units. Made a video, hope you enjoy!

Thanks! Just some feedback:
- The cards that can completely change the strategy when you draw them are great. For example I liked Slums: with it you can have tons of units, but need to find ways to get income because tax will become 0.
- One thing I wasn't sure about as a PC player was the gold mine card. Need to click a lot and fast, not good for the hand with the mouse.
- It took me a bit of time to understand the Advisors system.
- For replay value after you complete the campaign, consider adding an endless mode where you are sure to die but try to beat old records, it would work well with the statistics. For example all enemy get +20% health after round 40, all enemy get +15% dmg after round 45...

Level 15 is the demo wipe. You're not intended to beat it in the demo version.
You're in the top 20% if you've gone up to 15 waves.
